How To Make Money On Fiverr

Hey freelancers, get in here.

You might have been thinking of adding a source of income to your streams of income. This is necessary as relying on one source of income is not the best. If you have been looking for the best channel to sell your skills, I will recommend Fiverr.

I joined this creative community last month, and so far, it has been great. I have had understanding clients, and I even have a client who has gone on to become my friend. If you are a Nigerian, there are a lot of myths about the platform that you might have heard.
•    Nigerians do not get jobs.
•    You must buy reviews.
•    You should not use your Nigerian phone number because if you do, no one will reach out to you.

These claims are false. Do not get me wrong, I heard them too, and I was scared initially of joining the platform. Thanks to my friend Chisimdi and my cousin, for pushing me.
Making money on Fiverr is not rocket art.

I got my first job in 2 days without having to buy any review or change my number. My profile on the platform breathes Nigeria and Nigerianess. When some of my friends who have been on Fiverr for a long time heard that I get jobs here, they asked a lot of questions with regards to my tactics, and I will be sharing them in this article and on my YouTube channel. I would strongly recommend the YouTube channel as I am open to answering questions there. In this article, I am going to be sharing tips on how I was able to get a job on Fiverr in less than two days.

My first client owns a hair brand, a big hair brand. I see their ads everywhere, my blog included. You can imagine the joy in my heart when he finally reached out to me that my offer got him hooked! When a client sends a request, do not have one random request that you send to every client, you won’t even get a view. If a client is looking for someone to write an article on health and fitness, do not just jump into your offer like this: ‘I am a writer, I can write this.’ You won’t get a view. If you see a request like that, you can start by telling the client how you are fascinated by fitness. If you have written an article on fitness when is the better time to blow your trumpet? Blow that freaking trumpet. Even if you haven’t written an article on fitness, but you work out, infuse it in your offer. I had this client who decided to pick me because he felt my passion from the proposal that I sent to him.  He said he decided to pick me because of the passion in my request.

I can do a smooth and confident British accent, and I decided to monetize it on Fiverr. I got my first job as a voiceover artist on Fiverr three days after joining. That is, I got my first job, which was writing for a hair brand two days after joining the platform, and the next day, I got a voiceover job. I had to pronounce an Arabic word in my British accent. If you know me personally, you will know that when I decide to do a British accent, it is almost like that of the native speakers. Do you know that voiceover paid me $8 to pronounce an Arabic word in my beautiful British accent 20 times? All of you beefing people that acquire dialects, it helps most times.

I have a lot to share with regards to working on Fiverr and making friends with my clients, but I would leave you guys to watch my video on YouTube before you ask your questions. If you have any question at all, you can drop it on my YouTube channel, or you can drop it here, I will answer everything, and if it requires me to make another video, I will gladly do that.

Do you have an account on Fiverr that is dormant, have you been on Fiverr for quite some time with nothing to show for it? I didn’t take any job last week because of my health issues but let me remind you that the least I have earned on Fiverr is $8 and as ridiculous as it might sound, I just had to record myself pronouncing an Arabic word 20 times. Still the most straightforward cash I have made. Watch the video on YouTube and let me know what you think. I am ready to listen to your Fiverr challenges.
